In 1899 she was married to Alfred Jacobson of Edmund. They resided near Dodgeville and Edmund for many years. Mr. Jacobson passed away in 1911.

Funeral services were held at a Funeral Home in Dodgeville on Friday, March 21st, with burial in the Otto Creek Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. H. Bestul officiated.

She is survived by four children, Mrs. Lawrence (Pearl) Fingerson, Harvey and Wilson, all of Dodgeville, and Mrs. Alva Broden of Edmund; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Martin Afkend, of Lyndon.
