Dickinson, Blanche (28 February 1904 - 11 May 1974)

Funeral services were held May 15 from Jensen Funeral Home, Hixton, for Mrs. Blanche Dickinson, 70, of Rt. 1 Merrillan, who died May 11 at Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, where she had been a patient for a week. The Rev. Calvin Carey officiated and burial was made in the Hatfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Dickinson, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Bissell, was born February 28, 1904, in Clark County. Her marriage to John Dickinson took place in Clark County November 6, 1934. She taught in elementary schools in Marquette, Clark and Jackson counties, and was a teacher at the Humbird grad school at the time of her retirement following 40 years of teaching.

Survivors include her husband, John, and one sister, mrs. Walter Lighthizer of Augusta.
