Grajkowski, Lois (29 March 1945 - 13 December 2015)

Lois Grajkowski, age 70, a resident of Three Lakes, WI since 2004, formerly of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, in Eagle River, WI. She was born March 29, 1945, in Stanley, WI, to John and Joyce LaGasse. Lois met Edward Grajkowski at Thorp High School where they fell in love and married on January 29, 1967.

Through the years, she worked as a secretary at Honeywell in Minneapolis, MN; the UW Madison Department of German; Field Crest Mills, Columbus, GA; Strong Advertising, Austin, MN; Omni Flight, Janesville, WI; and Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit, WI. Lois enjoyed snowmobiling, ATV riding, ice fishing, building puzzles, knitting, cooking and baking. She was a bundle of energy, full of life and always put everyone ahead of herself.

Lois was involved with her community, and served and held office in many organizations, including the Demmer Library Foundation, Three Lakes Women’s Club, Northern Lights Snowmobile Club, Three Lakes/Nicolet ATV Club, Knitting Club, Friends of the Demmer Library and St. Theresa Catholic Church. She was an avid Green Bay Packer, Wisconsin Badger and NASCAR fan. Lois loved her family and the time she spent with them.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Caden Grajkowski.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Edward Grajkowski of Three Lakes, WI; sons: Kurt (Michelle) Grajkowski of Sun Prairie, WI, Karl (Cindy) Grajkowski of Hudson, WI; grandchildren: Kara, Creighton, Gavin, Avery; brother, Mark LaGasse of Thorp, WI; sisters: Lynn (John) Knusta of Eau Claire, WI, Terry (Richard) Bellin of Casco, WI; and numerous other family and friends.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 18, 2015, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Three Lakes, WI. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial at the Three Lakes Cemetery will be immediately after Mass. Memorials to Angel on my Shoulder in Lois’s name are appreciated by the family.
