Butler (9 May 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reineke spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lester Reineke at their home near Eau Claire.

Mary Lynn Mayenschein of Milwaukee is enjoying a few days’ vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curt Mayenschein.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Eric Kapfer. Mr. Kapfer died suddenly Monday last week while working a field. His funeral was held Thursday.

Tom Daines and son, Brian, of Milwaukee were weekend guests of Mrs. Chester Daines.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burrington of Elk Mound and Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Parent and Steven of Humbird were recent visitors at the Pirl Burrington home.

Mrs. Eldora Dow of Greenwood visited Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Chester Daines.

Mrs. John Kile was honored at a birthday dinner at her home Sunday. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Bud Kile of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Don Christen and daughter of St. Joseph, Mn, and Debbie Nelson and John Kile of Milwaukee.

Visitors Sunday at the Collins home were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wavrunek of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. James Brown of Augusta.

Mr. and Mrs. David Mayenschein and daughters of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Curt Mayenschein home. Their daughters spent the week with the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Subicki, in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Chris Mankiewicz of Sussex visited at the John Bizjak home Friday.

Those from this area visiting Mrs. Hugo Kuehl at Morgan Plaza in Thorp were Mrs. Jack Conklin, the Rev. and Mrs. Harold Palmer, and Mrs. Pirl Burrington.
