McNamar, Sharon M. (Hollister) (23 OCT 1938 - 29 NOV 2015)

Sharon M. McNamar, age 77, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Aspirus Hospital, Wausau.

Per Sharon’s request there will be a private celebration of life service held at a later date.

Cremainal Inurnment will take place at Chelsea Community Cemetery at a later date.

She was born on October 23, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to Frank B. and Hazel M. (Mallory)
Hollister.

Sharon graduated from Westboro High School in 1956.

On November 17, 1956 in Rib Lake, Sharon married Jerry McNamar, he survives.

In 1954 Sharon’s family moved to the township of Westboro. After her marriage, Sharon and Jerry bought and managed a farm for 33 years; she then worked for Copps IGA in Medford for 3 years. Sharon then worked for B & B Engineering in Medford for 9 years. She enjoyed going for long walks, gardening, reading, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry McNamar, Medford; children Bob (Renee) McNamar of Tomahawk, Allen (Ann) McNamar, Barb (Significant Other: John Sterr) Denzine, and Dale (Fiancée: Keva Schult) McNamar all of Medford; six grandsons and one granddaughter; seven great-grandsons; and one sister, Janet (Frank) Pawlowski of Weslaco, TX.

Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Frank B. and Hazel M. (Mallory) Hollister.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sharon’s family to be designated at a later date.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
