Three Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) youths will be awarded Certification of Graduation at the commencement exercises of the Farm Short Course to be held in Agriculture Hall on the campus of the College of Agriculture in Madison on Saturday, March 16, 1957. Among the 111 graduates will be Darrel Horn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Horn, Lloyd Horn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Horn, and LeRoy Kesler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Kesler. All three are former students of Greenwood High School, where they took vocation agriculture and were active in FFA activities.

The Farm Short Course was started 71 years ago and since that time has trained 11,000 farm youth in practical and useful aspects of successful farm operations. The course, which consists of three, five week periods each winter, includes such subjects as soils, feeding, breeding, farm machinery, marketing, rural living, dairy industry, and other subjects designed to give the student a good practical knowledge of farming.
