Anderson, Susan (22 AUG 1970)

The First Presbyterian Church of Downers Grove, Ill. was the scene for the wedding of Miss Susan Anderson, Downers Grove, Ill. and Robert Grambsch, Loyal (Clark Co.), Wis., at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 1970. Officiating was the Rev. W.J. Tate.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Anderson, Downers Grove, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Grambsch, Loyal.

Approaching the altar with her father, Miss Anderson was seen in an empire waisted, full skirted, dotted Swiss gown, with chapel train, appliqued with daisies and braid. She wore a bouffant veil of sheer illusion, secured to a bow headpiece, and carried a colonial bouquet of daisies, yellow roses and stephanotis.

Miss Cynthia Krystanski was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Sue Popanz and Kathy Larson. Mary Grambsch was junior bridesmaid. They all wore yellow dotted Swiss gown with matching bow headpieces, and carried colonial bouquets of yellow and white daisies. Tracie DeBenedictis was chose as flower girl and carried a basket of daisies.

The groom chose all college friends for his attendants. They were David Zellmer as best man, and Bruce Elmergreen and James Brandenberg as groomsmen. The newlyweds greeted their wedding guests at a reception and dinner in the Vermont Room of the Holiday Inn, Glen Ellyn, Ill.

Following a honeymoon at Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, they will reside at Sunrise Apartments, Middleton, Wis. They are both seniors at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

The rehearsal dinner party, sponsored by the groom's parents, was held at Karen's Supper Club.
