Mrs. Anna Volovsek returned last week from La Crosse, where she visited Mr. and Mrs. Vitko Staut. They accompanied her here.

Felix Perko has returned from his vacation. He was in the West for several months.

Debbie Craig, who was in the forensic speaking contest, received an “A” rating last Saturday at Greenwood High School.

Sarah and Debbie Craig and Pamela Suda from the Willard area also took part in the 4-H speaking contest last Tuesday in Greenwood. All three received blue ribbons in their respective age groups. Debbie Craig will represent the county at Rice Lake March 30, as she had the highest rating in her age group. Sarah Craig is an alternate.

Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Craig were in West Salem, where they attended the purebred Holstein sale last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Vitko Staut of La Crosse visited relatives and friends here recently.

Miss Mary Ellen Bayuk of La Crosse spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bayuk and family.

Tony Gosar, Sr., has been dismissed from the hospital at Marshfield.

Mrs. Patrick Plautz was dismissed last Saturday from the hospital in Marshfield.

Mr and Mrs. Bernard Gosh, Mary Ann, Donna and Johnnie, of Milwaukee, spent four days with Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Lehto.

Dr. and Mrs. James Ulesich and family of Menomonie spent last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich and Mr. and Mrs. George Dimmitt.

Steve Hemersbach of Madison spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Hemersbach.

Mrs. Donald Kirn and Mrs. Louis Matkovich were in Eau Claire last Saturday.

Steve Plautz spent from Monday until Wednesday in Milwaukee with relatives.

Floyd Plautz and Frank Pekol, Jr., attended the road builders and appreciation tractor convention Friday in Eau Claire.

Steve Plautz, Floyd Plautz and Frank Pekol, Jr., were in Milwaukee attending a convention last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Sr., were in Scofield last weekend to visit Mr. and Mrs. Duane Patridge family, and to help Christine and David Patridge celebrate their birthdays.

About six inches of snow fell in our community over the weekend. Snowmobilers had the pleasure of riding once again.

Dick Bayuk, and Tom Fossum, a classmate at St. John’s College, Collegeville, Mn, and Charles Bayuk of Madison and John Bayuk of Port Washington spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bayuk and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Langfeldt of Neillsville visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Horn, Sr.

Lawrence Suda is a patient in a hospital in Marshfield.
