Krosinski, Howard Larry (21 May 1945 - 19 July 2015)

Howard Larry Krosinski, 70, of Oakdale, formerly of Humbird, died Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Tomah Memorial Hospital in Tomah.

Howard was born May 21, 1945, in Black River Falls to Frank and Joyce (Bailey) Krosinski. As a young man, Howard moved to Bozeman, MT, and worked for Pacific Hide and Fur. Through the years, he worked as a logger in Wisconsin, Montana and throughout the western United States. He returned to Wisconsin in the mid 1980s and settled in the Humbird area where he lived until March 2015, when he moved to Oakdale to be closer to family.

Howard enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and ATVs and tinkering with all types of machinery. He was always ready to help his neighbors and friends with whatever they needed, supplying wood or helping to fix something.

Howard is survived by his children: Larry Krosinski of Sparta, Julie Janusheske of Madison, John (Effie) Krosinski of Green Bay and Lisa Krosinski of Madison; one brother, Kenny (Linda) Krosinski of Black River Falls, step-brothers: Benji Schwenneker and Joe Schwenneker; step-sister Betty Sprinkle; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Joyce; a grandson, Johnny Krosinski; a brother,
Scott Krosinski, a sister, Barbara Struensee; and step-sisters: Cindy Conforti, Evonn Emmons, and Alice (Glenn Garey) Schwenneker.

Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Torgerson Funeral home in Black River Falls with Rev. Terry Marg officiating. Friends called from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home Saturday.
