Seven tables of cards were played last Sunday night at the parish community center. Ralph Smrecek and Julius Klapatauskas were on the committee. The door and raffle prizes were awarded to Julius Klapatauskas. A prize also was awarded to the winner of each table. A lunch was served after the games.

Mrs. Rudy Musich and Mrs. Frank Govek were appointed to attend the Day of Prayer this Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church at Greenwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Plautz visited last Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Plautz and family.

Joseph Bayuk has been dismissed from the Marshfield hospital.

Hilda Klessig of Manitowoc is spending one week with Mrs. Catherine Lehto.

Miss Bernie Stremikis is spending the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Stremikis, Sr.

Several inches of snow fell last Friday accompanied by strong winds piling the snow in drifts especially around the buildings and yards.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Klapatauskas and son of Cudahy spent one week here with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas.

Joseph Bayuk is a surgical patient in a Marshfield hospital.

Sandra Janezich has had appendectomy surgery at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Margie Shain has been a patient in a Marshfield hospital since Monday.

Last Tuesday night a FFA banquet of the parents and members was held at the Greenwood High School and was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Craig and Debbie.

On Tuesday Miss Debbie Craig attended a public speaking contest at Abbotsford and won second place. Debbie is secretary of the Greenwood Chapter. Judy Baltus also attended.

Tony Volovsek and Timmie of Franklin spent last weekend here with his mother, Mrs. Anna Volovsek.

Ernest Olson and son, Dennis of Berwyn, Il., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozego, Sr., and family and also at Fairchild with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Olson and family.

Sarah and Debbie Craig were at Perkinstown on Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Craig visited with Mr. and Mrs. Craig Gordon and Stacy at Marshfield last week.

Debbie Craig and Connie Musich were in Perkinstown last Saturday, where they attended the national honor society and pep contest.

A birthday party was held last Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Saule honoring their daughter, Marilyn. Lunch was served and games were played. The following were present; Mrs. Audrey Gregorich and family and Elaine Trybula.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Peskator and Henry of Waukegan, Il., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Al Hemersbach.

Judy Seliskar of Eau Claire spent the weekend here with her mother, Mrs. Evelyn Seliskar and family.
