Redmond, E. J. (24 February 1904 - February 1974)

Mrs. E. L. Moberg of Greenwood and her daughter, Mrs. James Horswill of Neillsville, left at noon Monday for Oregon City, Ore., to attend funeral services Wednesday for E. J. Redmond.

Mr. Redmond, who was 69 and a native of Clark County, died of Lung cancer.

Mr. Redmond was born on the farm now owned by Donald Acheson in the Town of Weston, on February 24, 1904. While he left this area for Oregon in 1921, he frequently returned here to visit his father, the late James Redmond of Neillsville, and sister, Mrs. Moberg.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; a son, Dale; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Oregon. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Arch Helmes of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Herbert Swann, formerly of Neillsville and now residing in Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Moberg; and four nieces: Mrs. Charles Klapatauskas of Withee, Mrs. Horswill, Mrs. James Becker of Greenwood, and Mrs. Arnold Becker of Loyal.
