Maguire, Anita M. (Gebert) Hoffman (27 JAN 1923 - 10 SEP 2013)

Anita M. Hoffman Maguire, age 90, of, Wisconsin Rapids, WI died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the Renaissance in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Funeral Services are 11:00 AM Saturday, September 14, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. John Steiner will officiate. Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4:00-7:00 PM Friday and Saturday at the Church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Anita was born January 27, 1923 in Town of Little Black, WI to Fred and Josephine (Peissig) Gebert. She married Conrad Hoffman on January 27, 1942 in Medford, WI. He died March 31, 1970. She then married Merlyn W. Maguire on October 12, 1974 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Anita was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. in the Paperboard Division for 10 years retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Vincent PCCW. Anita always enjoyed her time with her family and friends and was always seen with a smile on her face.

Anita is survived by her husband, Merlyn; two sons, Jack (Judy) Hoffman and Terrence (Georgia) Hoffman both of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; four daughters, Barbara (Wayne Kolberg) Grimm of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Susan (Bill) Livernash of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Mary (Bill) Cummings of Bancroft, WI and Julie (Warren) Staszak of Ringle, WI; 23 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren

Anita is also survived by six brothers, Kenneth Gebert of Stetsonville, WI, Melvin (Pat) Gebert of Medford, WI, Gene (Leona) Gebert of Medford, WI Donald (Marge) Gebert of Franklin, WI, Fred (Rose Ann) Gebert of Meridian, Idaho, and Dale (Marcie) Gebert of Hazelhurst, WI; brother in law, Clarence (Dolly) Schreiner of Athens, WI, son in law, Bill (Barb) Gaupp of Nekoosa, WI and sister in law, Caroline Gebert of Arbor Vitae, WI.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Conrad Hoffman; daughter, Kathleen Gaupp; sister, Nancy Schreiner, brother, James Gebert, granddaughter, Tina Livernash grandson, Billy Livernash and great granddaughter, Jordan Fritsche.

Anita's family would like to thank the staffs at the Renaissance, Ministry Home Care Hospice and the Wisconsin Rapids Care Center for the wonderful, compassionate care given to her."
