Iwasko, Dorothy M. (28 JAN 1928 – 2 AUG 2015)

Dorothy Marion (Zwart) Iwasko, age 87, of Chili, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, August 7, 2015 at Our Fathers House Christian Community Church, W770 County Road H, Chili. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the church and again one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be held in the Curtiss Norwegian Cemetery, Curtiss.

Dorothy was born January 28, 1928 in Chicago, daughter of the late Ben and Tina (Lubben) Zwart.

Dorothy was Artistic, she enjoyed stenciling and painting. She loved the Lord, her grandchildren and flowers. Dorothy was a member of Fountain of Life Fellowship in Lombard, IL and most recently a member of Our Fathers House, Chili. She was the biggest fan of MPK Christian Celtic Band. Dorothy's constant theme through life was, "God's not Dead, He's Alive!" She was a living, breathing testimony to this truth.

Dorothy is survived by three children; Lawrence J. Iwasko, Deborah (Ronald) Johnson and Thomas J. (Marie) Iwasko, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a sister; Betty Van Dinther.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Ed and siblings; George, Dick, Martha and Henrietta.
