Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ebben and family of Mayville spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Badzinski and visited with other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Plansky and Marilyn spent Sunday at the Dick Plansky Jr. home at Somerset to celebrate David's birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Emmett had a visit from their niece and her husband and children, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Pronschinski, Billy and Peggy from Waumandee, Wis. Shirley Pronschinski came to visit her sisters, Ethel Mateja and Evelyn Kopiek from Chicago, who are vacationing at the Emmett farm.

Janet Herman entertained the following classmates and former teacher, Miss Cynthia Philbrook, with a backyard barbeque Saturday. Elaine Grajkowski, Daniel Haas, Carol Seaman, Charles Senn, Jean Marie and Mary Jo Keating, Kathy Haas, Edicth Possley, Ellen Smith, John Verkuilen and cousin, Barbara Vanderhyden. Volleyball, table tennis, croquet and badminton were played by all and were very much enjoyed.

A garage and attic auction sale will be held June 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Thorp parking lot. Bring items from your garage or attic. Donated items will be picked up. Bring in your items for sale. Sponsored by Mosse Lodge 680. Call Julius Morgan.

Callers at the Rich Boie home during the past week were Phil Pabich and Jackie Adler of Madison, Dean Ebben and Ruth King of St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Haas of Beloit, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Checkering of Gilman and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sneen and family of Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mayer of North Dakota and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Serocki and son Ronald visited Monday at the home of Anna Meske.

Miss Judi E. Emmett from Whittier, Calif. Called long distance to wish her dad a happy Father's Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Justisen of Port Arthur, Ontario were overnight guests at the Art Jacque home on Thursday.

Misses Diane and Kathy Ebben daughters of the Clay Ebbens, are spending this week in Mayville with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Ebben.

After being in the hospital, Mrs. Sophie Sumiec arrived home Friday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Emmett had guests from Mesa, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gates.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin spent Monday in Eau Claire visiting the Orville Asselin home.

Mesdames Diane and Elmira Mattes and carol Boie of Thorp, along with Jean Winger of Cadott, spent Wednesday in the cities, and on their return trip visited in New Richmond with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Geving and sons, Johnny and Jeffrey. Jeffrey is the largest of the Geving triplets and the only one home from the hospital.

Mrs. Anne Meske visited with Estelle Zukowski Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Emmett have guests from Chicago, Mrs. Emmett's nieces, Evelyn Kopiek and Ethel Mateja, going to spend 3 weeks at the Emmett farm.

Mrs. Dave Weinberger, Mrs. Layton Asselin, Emily and Harry Quelle and Mrs. Martin Du Kovan spent Sunday at Wilson visiting Mrs. Tony Fisher.

Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Ebben and daughters, Nancy and Pam, Mr. and Mrs. Clay Ebben and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rich Boie and family, Mrs. Clara Ebben, all of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ebben and family of Mayville, were dinner and supper guests at the Leonard Ebben home in Edgar in honor of the First Holy Communion of their daughter Joan at St. John's Catholic Church in Werensberg on Sunday.
