W.J. Marsh transacted business at Black River Falls on Tuesday.

Mrs. S.E. Weld was at Marshfield on Monday.

D.H. Rosenburg was at Marshfield on business on Monday.

Robt. Weeks spent Sunday with his father at Waupaca.

Jos. Strangfelt was at Marshfield on Tuesday afternoon.

Rev. Roberts went to Wausau yesterday to attend synod.

Mr. and Mrs. Al. Lyons came home from Eau Claire on Tuesday.

John Aichinger transacted business at Marshfield Tuesday morning.

Chester Cook went to Madison Tuesday to spend a short time.

Henry Schroeder and son, Leo, are here from Reedsburg on business.

Mrs. Frank Gall and son went to Antigo Tuesday to visit relatives.

Gus. Uhlman and wife are here from Asherppun, Wis., visiting the families.

Melville Horton went to Rochester Tuesday to take treatment at the hospital.

Mrs. Annell of Dundee, Ill., is here for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Sheddon.

Mrs. Phil Griffin and baby of Ladysmith are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. L. Williamson.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bast left yesterday for a two weeks visit at Milwaukee and West Bend.

Dr. Brooks will go to Cloverdale, Mich., tonight to visit his parents and his office will be closed for a week.

Mrs. Henry Gehrt returned Saturday from Minneapolis, where she has been visiting her daughter the past two months.

Abe Lynch had three horses at the Black River Falls races last week and won about all the money that was hung up.

Chauncey Owen made a few student trips as a brakeman on the Omaha last week and may decide to take up railroading.

Miss Gladys Longenecker is home from Eleva where she is teaching, the schools there having closed on account of influenza.

C.F. Hamilton came up from Oshkosh on Monday on a business trip. He looks well and is well pleased with his change to Oshkosh.

Mrs. Hazelett received word last week of the marriage of her son, Sergt. Lynn Hazelett, the wedding occurring at Chicago. Lynn is now stationed at Camp Funston and returned there after a brief honeymoon.

Miss Lydia Bublitz of Port Edward on Monday joined her mother and two sisters, and her brother-in-law, Frank Wilhorn and son, who have been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George May. On Tuesday the entire party left for Seattle, Wash., to spend several weeks.

Mrs. Mary McPherson left last week for Everett, Wash., where she will spend the winter with her daughter, Mrs. Tom Hazelett. Tom recently had a leg amputated in a railroad accident and remains in a very serious condition as a result of the shock to his nervous system.
