Columbia (22 November 1973)

Francis Herrell and Mrs. Della Botnen of Neillsville, and Mrs. William Sollberger, accompanied Mrs. Charles Anderson of Hewett Township to Marshfield last week Monday and attended a meeting for retired teachers. A number of other Clark County retirees were present also.

Mr. and Mrs. George Church of Pine Valley visited Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin Friday evening.

Georgeana Schulz and Mrs. George Mashin accompanied Mrs. Al Mashin of Neillsville to Eau Claire last week Wednesday.

Mrs. Vernon Giloy and a brother, Robert Sischo, of Milwaukee, were recent visitors of their father, Leo Sischo, and other relatives. Mrs. Giloy also visited Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin.

Herbert Aspen and sons, Kris and Kurt, of Mount Prospect, Il., are hunting in our area. They called on Bill and Georgeana Schulz. They are staying with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen, in Neillsville.

Terry Teasdale, Douglas Wampole and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fillner, all of Madison, came Friday evening and are guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin while the men are hunting. Stanley Wampole drove up Saturday morning and joined the group.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe White of White Bear Lake, Mn., were Sunday night guests of the Mashins and planned to go on to Marshfield Monday for a visit with friends.

Ed Mash8in of Humbird visited the Mashins Sunday evening.

Pfc. Howard Clodfelter, who has been stationed in Florida, called on the George Mashins Friday afternoon. His company will now move to Minnesota.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Endel are planning to spend Thanksgiving Day with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Endel in Port Washington. They also plan to visit another son, Patrick Endel, and family at Johnson Creek over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. John Apfel of Levis visited Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin last week Tuesday evening. Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mashin of rural Neillsville visited at the Mashin home.

George Mashin and son, Don, accompanied Ed Zank and Al Mashin of Neillsville on a pheasant hunting trip to Cartridge, N. D. The men left Friday morning.
