Richard Boardman, Eau Claire, spent Thursday evening at his parent's home, the Louis Boardman's.

Mr. and Mrs. Eric Polnaszek of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the home of Ed Polnaszek and attended the funeral for Gary Bandor on Friday, March 29th.

Mrs. Tehresa Slipek and son visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Urban.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin spent Saturday night at the Harry Heiting home in Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Danielewicz spent the weekend at the Kenneth Sauerwein home in Ellsworth. Mr. and Mrs. Handord Anderson and family drove to Frederic Sunday.

Mrs. Kenneth Butterfield of Wausau was a dinner guests and visitor at the Casper Haas Sr. home Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ebben and children, Michele and Tim, of Waunakee, Wis., were weekend visotors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Delton Ebben.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin spent Sunday evening at the Sidney Alger home.

Dr. and Mrs. W.F. Nolechek arrived from Fort Lauderdale, Flay on Saturday, after spending the winter.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haas and Mr. and Mrs. Casper Haas Sr., were Saturday afternoon visitors and supper guests at the Kenneth Butterfield home in Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. Rich Boie and family and Mrs. Clara Ebben spent Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sneen in Eau Claire.

Mrs. Hazel Weinberger spent Wednesday and Thursday at the Jack Jalling and Gordon Thorson homes at Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Truckey were supper guests at the home of Louis Truckey.

Gloria Jean Hanson of Grafton, Wis., granddaughter of Mrs. Martha Tomczak of Gilman, Wis., left for a 1 week vacation with Student Exchange to Gentry, Arkansas on Saturday, March 30, by Ozark Airline. She will fly there and back and will arrive on Sunday, April 7.

Mrs. Jack Tetzner spent the past 2 weeks in Minneapolis with her daughter, Mrs. John Persico, who is a patient at the University of Minnesota Hospital.

Mr. Lutz, Linda, Susie and Stevie, spent the day shopping in Eau Claire on Saturday.

Dr. Udayamurthy and family, the science teacher from Mt. Scenario College from Madreas, India, visited the Wally Hintz home.

Ed Harycki spent a few days with Drs. Philip and Eleanora Jorgenson at Dearborn, Mich. The Jorgenson's wish to say hello to all their friend in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn and Misses Florence and Kate Hilbo visited with Mrs. Hollis Decker on Thursday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elkins bowled in the mixed couples tournament, temporarily taking second place, at Cadott, Wis., Saturday night.

Mrs. Frank Meske visited with Mr. and Mrs. George Meske on Sunday.

Guests at the Frank Winiarczyk home the past week were Rev. Kelsey Griffin of Ashland, Wis., Elmer Hardy of Mason City, Iowa, Ed Wagner of Oconomowoc, Wis., Rev. Fred Shilts of Stanley, Wis., Miss Cheryl Winiarczyk and girlfriend Doreen of St. Paul, Min.., Mr. and Mrs. Ron Winiarczyk and son Derrick of Puyallup, Wash.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Rusch spent Monday forenoon with Mrs. Hollis Decker.

Mr. and Mrs. William Boardman, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Ebben attended the State Bowling Convention at Kenosha Saturday and Sunday.

Mrs. Frank Meske entertained her pinochle club at her home Sunday night.

Mrs. Mary Pagel returned to her home here on Saturday afternoon, after spending six months in the Rest Home at Stanley.

Mrs. Jack Boardman spent the weekend visiting Mrs. Grace Boardman, who is staying with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tobola, in Cadott.

Alan Schwantes of Eau Claire spent Thursday evening at the Richard Plansky home.

Julie Boardman of Milwaukee spent the weekend at her parent's home, Mr. and Mrs. William Boardman.
