Foelsch, Beulah Virginia (Witte) (12 APR 1926 - 31 MAY 2015)

Beulah Virginia Foelsch was born April 12, 1926 in Marshfield, Wisconsin; daughter to Richard H. and Bernice (Roohr) Witte.

She was a mid-western girl who grew up on her parent's dairy farm near Colby, WI. In 1941 she was awarded the title of Prom Queen of Colby High School. Beulah's first husband was Leo Bloom. Later Beulah would meet and would marry George Foelsch, previous owner of Pine Grove Cheese Factory in Riplinger, WI.

From 1954-1971 Beulah served as secretary and treasurer of Dairy Belt Cheese Co. in Moberly, MO. Beulah loved keeping busy and later in life much of her free time was dedicated to volunteer work. She held a position as an Area Representative to the South Townhomes in Heather Gardens, Aurora, CO.

Her favorite hobbies were antique collecting, arts and crafts, and cooking. Beulah's creativity did not go unnoticed. The Aurora Sentinel ran a feature on her when she made individual gingerbread men with likenesses of every player of her favorite football team, the Denver Broncos. Recently Beulah was again featured in The Aurora Sentinel discussing her lifelong love of music and the relationship between music and Alzheimer's disease. The story can be viewed from the link below: http://www.aurorasentinel.com/guide/play-music-brings-aurora-alzheimer-patients-life/

Beulah is preceded in death by, her loving husband George Foelsch, her three brothers Hubert "Bud" Witte, Wilbur "Babe" Witte, Richard Jr. "Dick" Witte, and her sister Grace Witte.

Beulah is survived by her two sons Ron Bloom (wife Judy) Atlanta, GA, and Michael Foelsch (wife Sue) Littleton, CO, her daughter Patricia Foelsch, Aurora, CO, her three grandchildren George Foelsch, Denver, CO, Megan Ferenz (husband Josh), Durango, CO, Sandy Comstock, Pasadena, CA, and her great-granddaughter Hara Grace, Durango, CO.

Beulah loved her family more than anything. She passed away peacefully at Juniper Village, Aurora, CO, on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 89 years of age, from Alzheimer's disease.

A Memorial Service will be held in Aurora, CO, in the fall of 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Denver, CO Alzheimer's Association or Hospice chapter of your choice.
