The Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Stetsonville was adorned with two identical bouquets of assorted flowers for the wedding Saturday, June 4, at 11:45 a.m., of Miss Gloria Ann Boor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Boor, rt. 1, Stetsonville, and Daniel P. Devine, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Devine of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). Rev. James Harte, pastor, officiated.

Miss Boor was given in marriage by her father. She wore an organza over taffeta sheath styled by an empire waist, scoop neckline on the re-embroidered lace bodice, lace floral appliques on the skirt front, and a circular chapel train. Her Spanish mantilla(?) And she carried red roses.

Mrs. Marion Wnek of Thorp served as matron of honor, with Mr. Wnek as best man. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Bob Boor of Dorchester and Miss Kay Devine and Miss Kay Hardy of Eau Claire. Bob Boor, Dorchester, Tom Boor, Stetsonville, and Mike Devine of Eau Claire, were groomsmen. Tom and Pat Devine, Eau Claire, ushered.

The aides were gowned in green, pink, blue and yellow sheaths, respectively. Each dress was styled with a brocade bodice and Watteau, empire waistline and crepe skirt. They were complemented by floral braided headpieces and baskets of flowers to match.

A reception and buffet supper fowling the church services were held at the parental Boor home. About 150 guests attended and in the evening a dance took place at the Dorchester Memorial Hall.

The former Miss Boor graduated from Taylor County Teachers College and Wis. State University, Eau Claire, where they will live after a honeymoon to Mackinac Island.

Out of towns guests came from Milwaukee, Green Bay, Waukesha, Eau Claire and Thorp.
