Royal Neighbors Fidelity Camp No. 6375 met October 25 at the home of Mrs. Neva Yorkston in Neillsville. Routine business was discussed. The group will meet next on November 29 with Mrs. Otto Schmidtke.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wegner called Sunday afternoon on Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero.

The UMW of the Granton United Methodist Church is to meet today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Violet Spry will be the hostess and Mrs. Dorothy Crandall, the lesson leader.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Farnsworth entertained the Darryl Farnsworth family of Marshfield at dinner Monday evening in honor of Mr. Farnsworth’s approaching birthday.

The Granton Women’s Civic club is to meet November 5, at the home of Mrs. Louis Helm. Mrs. Esther Schmidtke will be the program chairman and Miss Ruth Pietenpol will be the hostess. Plans for the annual Christmas party will be discussed.

The Ladies Aid Society of Zion Lutheran Church is to meet November 7 with Mrs. Albert Hasz and Mrs. Otto Hasz as hostesses. The LWML of the church is to meet this (Thursday) evening at the church.

Mrs. Otto Schmidtke visited Thursday with her sister, Mrs. Norman Freedlund, at Sherwood. Their aunt, Mrs. Pearl Holmes of Hancock, was also a guest that day at the Freedlund home.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero took a several days’ auto trip into northern Minnesota and Canada last week.

Mr. and Mrs. William Lehmann were weekend guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Smith and family, in Appleton, where they joined in the observance of their grandson, Brian’s seventh birthday.
