Milawski, Antonette (25 SEP 1965)

A 10:30 a.m. wedding ceremony was performed Saturday, Sept. 25, 1965 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, by the Rev. H.L. Crubel, Owen, by the Rev. H.L. Crubel for Miss Antonette Milawski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Milawski, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Jerome Melvin Kaz, son of Mrs. Caroline Kaz, route 2, Owen. Mr. Milawski gave his daughter in marriage.

Two floral arrangements of white and rust colored pompons were place on the altar for the occasion.

For her September wedding the bride chose a floor length sheath of slipper satin made with semi-scoop neckline. Seed pearls and Alencon lace fashioned a design on the fitted bodice and sheath skirt. A dimensional train detached from the waist with a bow.

An Alencon lace and pearl crown with bouffant veil completed her ensemble and her bridal bouquet consisted of yellow roses, stephanotis and ivy.

Miss JoAnn Becker, Eleva, was the maid of honor, and Miss Delores Milawski and Miss Marlene Szymanski were the bridesmaids. Miss Becker was attired in a floor length sheath of sand crepe with a bodice of seaweed velvet and bateau neckline. Sand Venetian lace accented the empire waist.

A seaweed velvet pillbox with blush veil completed her attire. The two bridesmaids wore identical dresses in bourbon and sand. They carried colonial bouquets of pompons in fall tones.

Tony Pietzen, Owen, was best man. Wally Jozwiak and Edward Milawski Jr. were groomsmen, and Wally Pietzen and Edward Wendt, the ushers.

The wedding reception and dance were held at the American Legion Hall in Owen.

Mrs. Kaz is a 1958 graduate of Thorp High School and has been employed at the Hollywood Deluxe Beauty Parlor in Eau Claire, while the groom was graduated from Owen High School in 1956 and has since pursued the vocation of farming and will make their home on their farm on route 2, Owen.
