Trimner, Scott James (29 JUL 1956 - 31 MAR 2015)

Scott James Trimner, 58, Athens, died March 31, 2015, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

He was born July 29, 1956, in Fort Atkinson, the son of Patricia J. (Collins) Trimner and the late Harold G. Trimner. On Oct. 1, 1983, he married Kathryn Mueller at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. She survives.

Along with his brother-in-law, Mr. Trimner operated Mil Trim Farms, Athens. He enjoyed watching his son’s sports events, hunting and spending time with family.

Besides his mother, Patricia, survivors include his wife, Kathryn; three sons, Matthew, David and Danny Trimner; a brother, Brad (Kathy) Trimner; and a sister, Heide (Marcella Otter) Trimner.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Trimner.

A funeral service was held April 4 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. Rev. Jeffrey Lambrecht presided. Burial was in Athens Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Athens High School Scholarship Fund.
