Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and Mrs. Hattie Forman spent an evening last week with Mr. and Mrs. George Greeler in Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerhardt Schroeder of Kenosha and Mrs. John Hovorka of Racine have returned to their homes following a visit at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sternitzky and Mrs. Marie Keller.

Joy Simenson of St. Paul, Mn, and her fiancé, Paul Simenson of Wisconsin Rapids visited Sunday at the James Simenson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Maegdefessel drove to Rhinelander Tuesday and visited several hours that evening with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Egger at their area lake home. The Maegdefessels returned home Wednesday.

Weekend guests at the Alvin Schutte home were Mrs. Roland Stenulson and son and Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Schutte and daughter of Beloit.

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and Mrs. Hattie Forman drove to Monroe Saturday morning and attended an NFO convention and banquet supper held there. Around 600 persons were present for the banquet. Later that evening, they drove to Waunakee where they spent the night and following forenoon with Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kernz. From there they went on to West Bend to see the Lavene’s son, Gary and Dennie Dux and Scott Davel, and had dinner with them. The young men are employed by a West Bend manufacturing company.

Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Ott and five children and Mrs. H. Hoffman of Ripon visited Saturday at the homes of Mrs. Marie Keller and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Oldham.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hagedorn and daughter, Heidi, of Fond du Lac spent the weekend with relatives here. The Hagedorns together with their son Randy, a student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Mrs. Clara Shaw, Richard Hagedorn and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard were Sunday dinner guests at the Bob Shaw home.
