York Center (8 Aug 1918)

Walter, Jesse and Forest Rowe, Jesse, Ray, and George Mortimer, Dave Rhines, Dale Fulwiler and Horace Vande Berg gave Ernest Rowe a lift in the hay field last Friday. Bert Hayden and Arleigh Grave also assisted on Saturday.

Miss Ruth Hinman of Glenwood is visiting the Mortimer family in this vicinity.

The W.C.T.U. lecture last Wednesday was not very well attended.

Rev. E.E. Strevey and wife were here calling last Wednesday.

Mrs. Zelina Rowe and son, Vernon, went to Marinette last Wednesday on a short visit.

Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Schoenfeld and Mr. and Mrs. Abie Turner autoed to Neillsville Sunday evening.

Mrs. Mary Redmond left Wednesday for her home at Oshkosh
