Jones, Phyllis Elaine (Koehler) (17 FEB 1935 - 12 FEB 2015)

Phyllis Elaine Jones, age 79, of Abbotsford, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. A visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.

Phyllis was born February 17, 1935 to Alfred and Emma (Reid) Koehler in Pierce, Nebraska. She received her education in Pierce Nebraska and was united in marriage to James B. Jones on January 9, 1955 in Pierce, Nebraska.

Phyllis and James owned and operated the Unity Auto Matt in Unity, WI from 1988 to 2011.
She enjoyed gardening, gambling and sewing.

Phyllis is survived by her children; Gordon (Lynn) Jones of Medford, Susan (John) Harpke of Thorp, Alice (Jack) Baxter of Dorchester, Kenneth (Norine) Jones of Sparta, WI, and Cynthia (David) Page of Athens, TX; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. She is further survived by 3 brothers; Ervin Koehler, Herman Koehler, and Dennis Koehler, and 3 sisters; Darlene Zautke, Irene Neitzke, and Norma Kollmar.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; James Jones and sisters; Delores Crow, Elsie Acklie and brother; Clarence Koehler.

The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
