Susa, John Jr. (4 JUL 1918 – 14 SEP 1969)

John Susa Jr., 51, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became Clark County's 14th highway death recorded when he was killed in a one-car accident Sunday night before midnight.

The accident happened as Suda was traveling north on Highway 73 near the junction of County Truck OO. Susa's car left the road as it approach a curve, traveled about 200 feet, knocked down several fence posts, struck a utility pole, breaking it off, rolling over, coming to rest on its wheels.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood.

Mr. Susa was an employee of the Wuethrich Creamery Company.

Surviving are his wife, Wilma; four daughters, Mrs. (Patricia) Gerry Hunt, Missouri; Mrs. (Luann) Ron Gaerette, Arvada, Colo.; Linda of Arlington, Texas; Victoria, at home; one son, Leonard, Milwaukee; tw stepsons, Gordon and Spring Fleming, both of Greenwood; three grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Susa Sr., Greenwood, and three brothers, Cletus, Willard, James, Loyal, and Giles, Greenwood.
