Green, Phyllis Marie (Stuve) (25 OCT 1916 - 3 FEB 2015)

Phyllis Marie (Stuve) Green, age 98, passed on to her heavenly home on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Sturgis Regional Senior Care.

Phyllis was born in Humbird, Wisconsin, October 25, 1916. She was the first of ten children born to Howell and Mabel (Stallard) Stuve.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Lifespring Wesleyan Church in Sturgis, SD. A second service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at the Curtiss Alliance Church. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss with Military Honors provided by the Colby VFW Post #2777. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday February 13, 2015 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

She is survived by four sisters, Virginia (Jesse) Bonney of Centrailia, Wa.; Mary (Carl) Harms and Janet (Robert) Anderson of Sturgis, SD, and Gwendolyn (Jerry) Pearson of Oshkosh, WI, and one brother Dwight (Norma) Stuve of Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She has many nieces and nephews and was a great support to all and encouraged them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil; her parents, Howell & Mable Stuve; three brothers Franklin, Gordon and Paul Stuve and one sister, Dorothy Kostlevy.

A Memorial has been established at the Curtiss Alliance Church.
