Hetchler, Beverly E. (Romanowicz) Toon (4 AUG 1940 - 4 JAN 2015)

Beverly E. Hetchler, 74, Colby, passed away Jan. 4, 2015, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.

Beverly was born Aug. 4, 1940, the daughter of Karl and Matilda (Skillings) Romanowicz in Barron. She was raised and attended school in Chetek.

Beverly was united in marriage to Lawrence Hetchler Feb. 13, 1963, in Mason City, Iowa. He preceded her in death July 12, 1993.

She worked for many restaurants during her working years and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, country music and trips to the casino.

Beverly is survived by her four children, Angela “Jamie” Hetchler of Kaukauna; Robin Lynn Hetchler (Keith Frahm) of Colby; Jody Wade Hetchler (Connie) of Milladore and Kimala Lou Anne (Gorden) Kocherer of Thorp a stepson, Rodney Hetchler of Colby; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother Orin Romanowicz; a half-brother Elmer (Betty) Johnson of Crosby, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Lawrence Hetchler and Clifton Toon; a brother Karl Romanowicz; a half sister, Gertrude Johnson; an infant brother Glen; and a grandson.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, at St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Colby.
