Pleasant Ridge (2 August 1973)

Recent weekend visitors at the Carl Drescher home were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hoeft and their daughter and son of Seattle, Wa., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hoeft of Aberdeen, S.D.

Mrs. Lorraine Johnson of Westport, Ct., arrived Friday for a week’s visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Short.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vine and Lisa of Rolling Meadows, Il., spent part of their vacation at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine. Sunday afternoon caller at the Vine home were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hillert of rural Marshfield. The Hillerts moved to the area from Waterford late in June.

Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Erickson, the occasion being the wedding of their son, Donald, and Miss Linda Hiles, were Milton Erickson and Carole Barth of Chicago, Il., who arrived Tuesday, Joe Bills of Minneapolis, Minn., Donna Erickson of Eau Claire, Mrs. Ralph Lund of New Richland, Minn., and Duane and Douglas Lund of Minneapolis.

M-Sgt. and Mrs. George R. Kuehn and four children of Laredo, Tx., arrived Thursday for a visit at the home of his parent s, Mr. and Mrs. George Kuehn. Upon their return to Texas, the family will move from Laredo to Del Rio. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert King, Alvin King and Minnie King of Coloma and Mrs. Art Happe of Ripon called on Mrs. Ella Kuehn at Memorial Home and at the George Kuehn home. The Kings are nieces and nephews of Mrs. Ella Kuehn and Mrs. Happe, who is 90, who is their cousin.
