Thorp Methodist Church was decorated with yellow and white mums, with white tapers in the candelabra for the marriage of Miss Mary Jo Christensen and Robert W. Stummeier on Saturday, Oct. 14th, 1967. Rev. James Christensen performed the two p.m. double ring ceremony. Mrs. Jan Boardman was organist, while soloist Mrs. Lucretia Paff sang "Oh Perfect Love" and "The Lord's Prayer."

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Lyle S. Christensen, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kreglow, Crystal Lake, Ill.

The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length peau de soie sheath, styled with yoke and belled sleeves of ribboned Alencon lace. Appliques of the lace, trimmed with pearls highlighted the skirt and detachable chapel train. A lace and pearl cloche held her silk illusion chapel length veil. Her bouquet was a cascade of lilies and stephanotis.

Miss Betsy Zaborowski, friend of the bride was maid of honor, and bridesmaid was the bride's sister. Mrs. Georgia Fredrickson, Hatfield. They wore floor length A-line dresses of worsted linen, in copper, styled with empire waist, and heavy cream lace bordering the elbow length sleeves. Bouquets were crescents of gold and white mums, with bittersweet.

Miss Gwendolyn Boardman, friend of the bride, was flower girl, and Jeffrey Fredrickson, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Nels Christensen, Omaha, Neb, brother of the bride, was best man, and groomsman was the bride's brother-in-law, Fred Fredrickson of Hatfield. Ushers were: Gary Smith, cousin of the bride, and Mike Elkins, friend of the bride.

A reception for 125 guests was held at the Meadowview County Club, Owen,

The groom is with American Airlines as a dispatch agent. After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and the Eastern states, the new couple will make their home at Laurel, Maryland.
