Fasnacht, Carol (2 SEP 1967)

Saturday, Sept. 2, 1967, at 1:00 p.m. St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, Wis., was the setting of a double ring ceremony uniting Carol Fasnacht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Fasnacht, route 1, Gilman, and Donald Frank Andruskiewicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Andruskiewicz, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown with bouffant skirt and a colonial pick-up. The fitted bodice had long lace sleeves and a lace edged tiered detachable train. The bouffant veil was held to a pearl edged lace petal headpiece. She carried a bouquet of white camillas and pink roses.

Miss Judith Ann Fasnacht, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Susan Michur, Waukegan, Ill., cousin of the groom, Miss Barbara Shilts, Wausau and Miss Marie Schindler, Wausau, both friend of the bride, and Miss Debra Ann Kosik, miniature bridesmaid, Milwaukee, niece of the bride.

The attendants wore identically styled floor length gowns of Chandu crepe in the new skimmer silhouette with a loose empire bodice of white Venice lace, which also covered the lined sleeves in three quarter length. The bodice had a scoop neckline and detachable Watteau panel trimmed the back of the dress. The maid of honor was in maize and the bridesmaids were in Nile green.

They wore dainty forward clusters of rolled organza roses trimmed with long floral sprays, to which short bouffant veils of illusion were secured. Those were dyed to match the color of their dresses.

The junior bridesmaid wore a copy of the attendants dresses in maize.

They carried a bouquet of mums tinted to match their dresses and wore small drop pearl earrings.

Best man was Robert Andruskiewicz, brother of the groom. Other attendants were William Kowieski, Thorp, friend of the groom, L/Cpl. James Vitort Jr., Beaufort, S.C., friend of the groom, and James Jarmutowski of Chicago, Ill., cousin of the groom. Miniature groomsman was Randy Boone, Gilman, Wis., friend of the family.

They wore black tuxedos. The groom wore a pink rose and the attendants wore carnations tipped to match their partner's dress. Ushers were Ted Hoffman, Thorp and Joe Szczech, Minneapolis, both friends of the groom.

A reception was held at Koolmo's Club and Ballroom, followed by a dance in the evening with music furnished by Alvin Styczynski.

The bride's mother attended the wedding in a light blue 2-piece dress with navy blue accessories, and the groom's mother wore yellow with white accessories. They both wore white gamelia corsages.

The young couple is now residing in St. Louis Park, Minn. The bride is employed with Employers Insurance of Wausau and the groom is a mechanical technician for the Honeywell Corporation in Hopkins.

Guests attending were from Minneapolis, Winona and St. Paul, Minn., Chicago, Rockford, McHenry, Waukegan and Glendale Heights, Ill., Whiting, Ind., Eau Claire, Ladysmith, Stanley, Curtiss, Milwaukee, Wausau and Thorp, Owen and Withee.
