You are all very familiar with the handy, speedy V-Mail system which has been in use since 1942. On Nov. 1, the photographic reduction of V-Mail to and from servicemen overseas is being discontinued.

However, the V-Mail form of letter, which saves space and weight over ordinary size mail, will still be used after that date. Thus, from now on, when you write your boy at an army post office or fleet post office address, he will get the original of your V-Mail letter at its full size rather than a copy at its microfilm size.
