Is this the equinox?

A light snow this morning.

The fair at Wausau opens today.

Heavy showers Sunday and Monday nights.

The high school building is nearly enclosed.

Heavy frosts have caused the leaves to begin to turn.

Farmers are now busy plowing and sowing winter wheat.

Mrs. E. T. Parkhill went to Stevens Point on Tuesday morning.

R. B. Salter went to Ogema yesterday morning on legal business.

Deputy Sheriff Firnstahl was at Dorchester yesterday on business.

The Beaver-Colby game last Saturday was witnessed by very few spectators.

Miss Mary Wagner went to Marshfield on Tuesday to get rid of aching molars.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hertz returned from their Milwaukee visit Monday evening.

J. W. Wicker was up the line the later part of last week for veterinary business.

J. C. Weissenorn of Chicago took orders here yesterday for Carsin Pirie Schott & Co.

F. A Parkhill left Tuesday for a visit at Montello and vicinity where he formerly lived.

M. Wiltzius represented Abeles & Mahler of Milwaukee here the fore part of last week.
