Zajack, Clara B. (22 APR 1967)

Miss Clara B. Zajack became the bride of Daniel Kielkucki on April 22, 1967 in a double ring ceremony at St. Hedwig Chapel. Nuptial Mass was performed by Father Ed Masalewicz.

Clara is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Zajack, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). Daniel is the son of Mr. Thomas Kielkucki of St. Paul.

For the pretty rainbow wedding the bride chose a beautiful bouffant style all lace, train dipped, long sleeved dress, with pearls and rhinestones. A short bouffant double crowned veil and carried a large bouquet of carnations with stephanotis and centered orchid spray. A bouquet of carnations and gladiolas was also carried by the bride to the Blessed Virgin.

The bridesmaids rainbow colored floor length dresses were princess waisted, short sleeved nylon chiffon cover taffeta, trimmed with white lace. The train was held from a back centered waistline flower. Each had matching headpieces of pearl and net. The carnation and ivy spray bouquets had matching ribbons.

A friend of the bride, Miss Madonna Walczyk, was maid of honor, wearing an aqua dress. The bridesmaids were Cecilia Zajack, sister of the bride, who wore blue, Mary Jean Kielkucki, sister of the groom, who wore pink, Carolyn Zajack, another sister of the bride, wore pale green. The flower girl, Anita, also a sister of the bride, wore yellow and carried a basket of matching flowers. The ring bearer was a cousin of the bride, Danny Lato of Chicago.

The groom chose his friend Steven Heath of St. Paul as best man. His groomsmen were Jerold Wirth of Nekoosa, Wis., Carl Zajack, Thorp, and Edward Mielech of St. Paul.

Ushers were cousins of the bride, John Grabowski, Richard Powers and Raymond Purkapile.

Attending the guest book were Kathy Kielkucki and Vicky Grabowski.

The bride's mother wore a two piece lace aqua dress with beige accessories and orchid corsage.

A dinner for 130 guests was held at the St. Hedwig Quonset Hall. Reception and supper started at 5:30, with 225 people attending.

Music was furnished by Ernie Rook.

The young couple will reside in Arizona, where the groom is stationed in the Army.
