------ Seefluth, Donna Mae (02 JUL 1966)

Now at home at 306 Parkview Terrace, Marshfield, are Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Wentzel, who have returned from their honeymoon trip to Northern Wisconsin.

The wedding of Miss Donna Mae Seefluth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Seefluth of Abbotsford, and Robert Earl Wentzel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wentzel of Curtiss, took place Saturday, July 2, at Christ Lutheran church, Abbotsford.

Ray Rachu of Colby and Donald Kademan of Curtiss seated the guests in the church for the 2:30 o’clock ceremony performed by the Rev. F. H. Sprengler.

Miss Mary Vorland was the organist and Bruce Klocke sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “Wedding Prayer”.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of nylon organza over taffeta. Lace outlined the square neckline and lace flowered applique detailed the front of the princess style skirt with its chapel train. Organza pleating edged the below elbow length sleeves and organza with miniature pearls formed the headpiece which held her bouffant veil. Yellow roses and white carnations combined in a fan arrangement were used in the bridal bouquet and in the bases which adorned the church altar.

The honor couple were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Seefluth of Abbotsford, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. Miss Lonnie Seefluth of Wisconsin Rapids, Everett Wentzel of Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Lang of Anaheim, Calif., completed the wedding party.

The bride’s attendants were attired in lilac sleeveless crepe sheath dresses designed with empire waists, scoop necklines and white eyelet lace over the bodice. They wore matching braid and floral cluster headpieces and carried bouquets of lilac and white carnations.

The wedding reception and dinner were held at the Colby Hotel and in the evening a dance took place at Sportsmen’s Park, Colby.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of the Dor-Abby high school and is a receptionist at Packaging Corporation of America, Colby. Her husband, a 1961 graduate of the Colby high school, is a student at the University of Wisconsin Wood county center at Marshfield.
