Greenwood (21 September 1972)

Sunday school has been resumed in Zion United Church of Christ after the summer recess. Classes are held each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Teachers are: Pre-school, Jill Larson; kindergarten, Mrs. David Logue; primary, Kathy Larson; juniors, Mrs. Phillip Vollrath; confirmation classes (seventh and eighth grade), the Rev. David Logue.

At Grace United Methodist church classes are held every Sunday from 10:25 to 12 noon for children through the 12th grade. Teachers are: pre-school and kindergarten, Deborah Craig and Mrs. Larry Schultz; primary, grades one and two, Melanie Sloniker; grades three and four, Mrs. Jack Zimmer; grades five and six, Sarah Craig; grades seven and eight, Donald Decker; grades nine through 12, Miss Ruth Verhulst. Substitute teachers are Mrs. James Bachelor, Mrs. Verlyn Sloniker and Mrs. John Syth. Superintendent of the Sunday school is Mrs. Eugene Antrim, the pianist is Mrs. Leon Kuester and Mrs. Robert Clintsman is secretary-treasurer.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Noah and family have moved from Texas into the Mrs. Harold Horn residence on Crocker Avenue. Mr. Noah, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah of Greenwood, has accepted a position in the hardware department of the Midland Cooperative here.
