Miss Diane Badzinski of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Badzinski of Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Kazmier Kmieciak visited on Sunday evening at the Bruno Lato home.

Mr. and Mrs. Theron Pagel and sons Bryan and Bruce visited at the home of Louise Pagel last Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. George Badzinski of Bayfield, Wis. Visited with Mr. and Mrs. Alex Badzinski of Thorp Saturday evening.

Bot Lato of Wausau spent the weekend at his home here.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pagel and Miss Mary Pagel visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Pagel of rural route, Owen, Thursday afternoon.

Mr. Herman Paff and Mrs. George Graf of Chippewa Falls and Mrs. George Kemp of St. Louis, Mo. Spent Saturday at the John Paff home in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pagel and Paul of Elk Mound, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pagel and Linda, Frank and Joy, of Stanley, all called at the Louis Pagel home Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Van Loo of St. Paul, Mrs. Frank Stewart and Mrs. Wally Kaczmarcik and daughter Diane visited Mrs. Henry Huls in Thorp on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Thiel of Owen spent Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Bertha Dudansky.

Mrs. Hugo Roesler, Mrs. D.D. Stookey and Mrs. Chester Johnson attended a meeting of the Republican Women of the 7th District at Wilbern's Supper Club Wis. Rapids on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stigen of Withee and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman spent Wednesday evening with Mrs. Bertha Dudansky.

Mrs. Lauren Bevins of Thorp and Miss Ella Larson of Minneapolis and Miss Kate Hilbo and Mrs. Florence Decker called at the home Mrs. Frank Stewart on Tuesday in Thorp.

Mrs. Kathryn Velcheck, Miss Carrie Schmidt and Emily Quelle spent Sunday with Mrs. Bertha Dudansky.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Deutschlander and son Randy called on Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander on Wednesday in Thorp.

Mrs. Larry Spaeth and son Jerry of Boyd called on Mrs. Joseph Benzschawel on Tuesday of last week.

Mrs. Warren Grace of Marinette spent a few days at the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank Stewart. She left Wednesday for Minneapolis, where she will spent a couple of weeks at the home of her son, Roger Grace and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Benzschawel and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Benzschawel visited with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Spaeth of Boyd on Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander and Mr. and Mrs. John Deutschlander of Thorp spent Sunday at their cottage in Holcombe, and also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Melanczuk.

Mrs. Paul Lebriecki of Lublin spent Tuesday with Mrs. Bertha Dudansky.

Mrs. Harold Cyrus and daughter Sandy visited with Mrs. Henry Deutschlander Wednesday afternoon in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Delton Ebben entertained the following guests with a Sunday dinner in honor of their daughter Joyce, who graduated from St. Bernard's School. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Moskiewicz and daughter, Cynthia, Mrs. Clara Ebben, Miss Gladys Ebben of Eau Claire, Wis., Mrs. Harold Parker and son, Danny, of Owen, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Norm Seidling and sons of Chippewa Falls, Wis.

Mrs. Frank Stewart of Thorp returned from Milwaukee Saturday, after spending 10 days at the home of her son, John Warner and family, and Mrs. Stanley Urstruck's home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kaz and family of Owen, Wis. Visited at the home of Walter Bohn Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Deutschlander and sons spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander.

Mrs. Ray Kaz of Owen, Mr. Jerome Hansen of Marshfield, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Lewis J. Pagel, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Pagel, Florence Stelter and Mr. and Mrs. William Dudansky attended the Turon Harper funeral at Eau Claire, Wis. On Wednesday, May 18.

Mr. John Paff and daughter Lynn spent Friday in Minneapolis, Minn., and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Mike Score of Elk Mound.

Mrs. Stanley Ustruck of Milwaukee is spending a week with relatives and friends in Thorp.

Mrs. Marion Culbert of Eau Claire spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Vanderhyden in Thorp.

Visitors throughout the weekend at the Rich Boie home were Miss Judy Gulcynski of Playa Del Ray, Calif., Mr. Church Jacobson and Mr. and Mrs. Stan Stack of Chicago, Airman 1st Class, and Mrs. Jack Geving of Mary Esther, Florida, Mrs. Ron Haas of Beloit, and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Ebben and family of Mayville. They were all guests at the wedding of a former classmate, Louella Badzinski to Don Zahn on Saturday.

Mrs. Mary Cottril of Milwaukee spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin and friends.

Airman 1st Class and Mrs. Jack Geving and son, Johnny of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Are spending a thirty-day furlough with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Vanderhyden of Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Geving of New Richmond.

Mr. and Mrs. Layton Asselin, Mrs. Dave Lenburger and Mrs. Mary Cottril of Milwaukee spent Sunday in Fairchild.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Burzynski and son Kevin visited at the George Miller home in Eau Claire on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hal Hallanger and son of Addison, Ill. Are visiting the homes of K.E. Lindquist and H.A. Hallanger of Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Smitke and their daughter, Doreann, were callers at the Alfred Kass home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. George Burzynski and son Mickey of Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Burzynski and son, Kevin, of Thorp, visited at the William Pawlak home in Eau Claire Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gilbertson and son, John, attended a party on Sunday evening in honor of the 76th birthday of Mr. Ben Gilbertson at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Grunseth of Ladysmith, Wis.
