Richert, Robert (24 APR 1943 – 10 JUL 2014)

Robert Richert, 71, Antigo, formerly of Loyal, died on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Eastview. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday July 18, at Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo, with Rev. Nancy Richmond officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, July 18, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Robert was born on April 24, 1943, in rural Sauk County, a son of Herbert and Alice (nee Searls) Richert. He was a graduate of Loyal High School with the class of 1961 and attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 2283 for many years having worked in Milwaukee. He moved to Antigo where he owned and operated Richert Builders. In his retirement years he enjoyed traveling, fishing and golfing.

Survivors include two daughters, Nicole Sellers, Milwaukee, and Kristin (Mark) Gradian, Wauwatosa; one grandchild, Ian Gradian; four sisters, Carolyn (John) Bair, Winnetka, Ill., Linda (Ralph) Ruppard, Lake of the Woods, Va., Beverly (Tom) Sikora, Neva, and Shirley (Mark) Denu, Elm Grove; and one brother, Stan (Leah) Richert, St. Louis, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rebecca, in infancy; and his former wife, Linda Gnacinski.
