A small force is now working at the new Streckert plant near the A. & N.E. Railroad. They are making parts for coaster wagons.

Mrs. Anton Van Dreel returned Wednesday after a visit with relatives of Appleton, Little Chute, and Kaukauna.

Mrs. Alice Eastland, Center City Minn., arrived Monday afternoon for a visit with her niece, Mrs. Viola Rusk.

Friends and neighbors helped make Mrs. Charles Brown celebrate her birthday anniversary, Saturday night, July 7. Pinochle was played at six tables. Prizes were awarded to Joe Moore, Mrs. Carl Dallman, Roy Moore, Port Edwards, Mrs. Jack Young, Mrs. Alvin Schmidt, Matt Braun, Mrs. Nick Wibben and Jack Young.

Melvin Boehlke, who taught Lutheran summer school, is now staying at Milan and is teaching in the town of Wien.

Lt. and Mrs. Charles Williams of Moody Field, Valdosta, Georgia were overnight guests Thursday at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Hutt, in route to Barron.

Mr. and Mrs. Leo A. Engel, Milwaukee, returned to their home Tuesday after several days visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Engel.
