Wolters, Daniel (30 June 1907 - 03 Mar 1969)

Daniel Wolters, age 61, Loyal, died of an apparent coronary heart attack at 7:50 a.m. Monday, March 3 at his home.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wed., March 5, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Humlie officiating and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.
Graveside Military rites were conducted by the American Legion Post #175.

The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.

Mr. Wolter as born June 30, 1907 at Almena, June 3, 1937 he married the former Nina Castner at Spencer.

As a child he came with his parents to a farm in the town of Sherman. He moved to the city of Loyal in 1942 where he was engaged in the lime and gravel business. For a time he was also employed by the Clark Co. Highway Dept. and the city of Loyal. Four years ago he moved to the town of Beaver. He served his country from April 1945 to August 1945 in World War II.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post # 175.

Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters; Mrs. James (Beverly) Crowley, Sheboygam\n; Mrs. Eldred (Diane) Shuette, Unity; Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Rittzenhaler, Milwaukee and Brenda at home; nine grandchildren; a brother, Carl of Pueblo, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Ed (Gertrude) Rohloff and Mrs. Everette Oestreich, Loyal; and Mrs. Frieda Carbett, Hillman, Minn.

He was preceded in death by a infant son and one sister.
