Lato, Bruno (8 AUG 1909 - 26 FEB 1967)

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 1st for Bruno Lato, 57, who passed away at his home on Sunday, Feb. 26th, 1967, after having suffered a stroke on Oct. 31, 1966. Rev. Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Thorp. Burial was in New St. Hedwig's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Mike Kaminski, Mike Kryzanski, Casimer Grucelski, Joseph Panek, Anton Swierkowski and George Burzinski.

Mr. Lato, a farmer, was born Aug. 8, 1909 in Poland. He came to the states in March of 1924. He was united in marriage to Anna Osowski, Nov. 23, 1940 at St. Hedwig's Church, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

Surviving are his wife, Anna; mother, Mrs. Agnes Lato; once son, Robert of Wausau; two daughters, Patricia of Port Washington, Dorothy of Wis. Rapids; two brothers, John Lato of Menomonie, Joseph Lato of Stratford, and one sister, Ann Kmieciak of Thorp.
