Greenwood High School (Class of 1942 Reunion - 29 July 1972)
The Greenwood High School class of 1942 held its 30th year reunion Saturday
evening in the Legion Hall. The event began with a coffee hour in the afternoon,
followed by a tour of the new Greenwood Elementary School building and the
Greenwood Homes, Inc. In the evening a dinner was served by the Legion
auxiliary.
Following the meal Robert Worden, master of ceremonies, introduced the guests:
Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Duel, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davenport, Fort Atkinson:
Miss Ruth Ludowise, Cadott; and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Christie, Greenwood.
Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Melvin Schumacher, for coming the greatest distance;
Orlando Kind, largest waistline; Mrs. Wilbur Kehrberg, youngest child and
licking the most stamps; Mrs. Garth Luchterhand, first reply; Charles Moore, man
with longest hair; Mrs. Harold Mitte, most grandchildren; Mrs. O. P. Duel and
Mrs. Robert Davenport (Not stated for what). A gift also was presented to Mrs.
Robert Susa for baking the special reunion cake and to Robert Davenport; also to
Mrs. Donald Wells and Mrs. Melvin Schumacher for having birthdays on Jule 22 and
23.
Attending were 26 class members and their spouses: Mr. and Mrs. Melvin (Fay

It was decided to have the next reunion in 1982 with Mrs. Robert Susa, Mrs.
Clayton Braun and Mrs. Glen Zilk on the planning committee.
