------ Denzin, Lynette (19 MAR 1966)

Miss Lynette Denzin became the bride of Michael Calmes in nuptial rites held Saturday, March 19, at St. John’s Catholic church, Wuerzburg.  Father Schumacher of St. John’s officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Denzin and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Calmes, all of route 2, Athens.

Attending the bride were Mrs. Kenneth Wolf, West Allis, and Mrs. Karl Fischer, Washington.  The groom’s attendants were John Denzin, Racine and Kenneth Wolf, West Allis.

The bride wore a gown of nylon organza over taffeta with a chapel train.  The gown was appliqued with French Chantilly lace.  The molded bodice was styled with a lace Sabrina neckline, trimmed with iridescent sequins and seed pearls.  The long sleeves were tapered to points over the wrists and front waistline was accented with a lace applique.  The bouffant skirt featured ruffled tiers of organza edged with lace and iridescent sequins.  A cabbage rose headpiece secured her three-tiered bouffant illusion veil.

The bride carried a bouquet of red roses with white baby mums.

The bride’s attendants wore aqua sheath gowns of crepe and corded lace.  The empire waistlines were accented with bias satin bands ending with scooped necklines and elbow-length sleeves.  They wore aqua floral headpieces with four tiered bouffant veils.  Their flowers were tinted aqua carnations with white pompoms.

The bride’s mother was dressed in a navy blue suit with navy and white accessories.

The mother of the groom wore a light aqua two-piece dress with aqua and beige accessories.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Trianon Ballroom, attended by 155 guests.  Relatives met at the bride’s parents’ home that evening.

Out-of-town guests came from Merrill, West Allis, Menomonee Falls, Athens, Milan, Abbotsford, Racine, Wausau, West Bend, Edgar, Medford, Phillips, Aniwa and Washington.

The new Mrs. Calmes has been employed at Kraft Foods, Milan.  The groom is employed by the Union Globe Skate Co., Menomonee Falls.

The couple will be making their home at W-170 N8934 Hoyt Drive, Menomonee Falls, Wis.
