------ Harvey, Charlotte (1896 – 03 MAR 1966)

Mrs. Robert O. (Charlotte) Harvey, wife of a former Colby Phonograph publisher and a native of Colby, died March 3 at her home in Hot Springs, Ark., where she and her husband had lived for the past eight years.  She was 70 years old.  Funeral services were held March 7 at Hot Springs.

Mrs. Harvey was born Charlotte Pradt in 1896 at Colby.  Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Pradt, were early settlers of this area.  Mr. Pradt operated a store at Colby until 1908 when the family moved to Houston, Texas.

She lived in Houston until her marriage in 1931 to Robert O. Harvey, also a native of Colby, at Mt. Morris, Ill.  Mr. Harvey and his brother, Harry, had published the Colby Phonograph from 1916 to 1917.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey moved from Mt. Morris to Hot Springs in 1957.  She had worked for 15 years in Mt. Morris as a secretary for the editorial department of the Kable Printing Co.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, are two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Booker, Houston, and Mrs. Millie Parker of Chloride, Ariz.
