The wedding of Miss Barbara Rose Kopp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kopp, route 1, Curtiss, and James Hoffmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Hoffmann, route 1, Colby, took place Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Owen Gospel Tabernacle.

During the one o’clock ceremony performed by the Rev. Darrel Bush, Mrs. Grace Finnila sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “A Wedding Prayer” with Mrs. Bush as accompanist and pianist for the wedding marches.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a floor-length gown of lace over satin.  Her elbow-length veil billowed from an open crown of pearls.  She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations in a cascade arrangement.

Mrs. Duane Ludwig of Abbotsford attended her sister as matron of honor and John Kopp, route 1, Curtiss, a brother, was best man.

Tom Kopp and Steven Larson were ushers.

Mrs. Ludwig carried a colonial bouquet of red and white pompons to accent her rose colored lace over satin floor-length dress.

A corsage of red and white carnations was given to the bride’s mother and one of the pink and white carnations to the groom’s mother.

Following the ceremony, a reception for 30 guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride, a 1964 graduate of the Owen-Withee high school, has been employed at the Dorchester Furniture Factory.  Mr. Hoffmann, a 1963 graduate of the Colby high school, is employed at Pathfinder Mobile Home, Inc., Spencer.
