Funeral services for Norman Kops, 49, a former resident of Colby, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 24, at Zion Lutheran church, Colby, with the Rev. David Pankow officiating.  Burial will be made in the Colby Memorial cemetery.

Mr. Kops died unexpectedly Sunday at Lisle, Ill., where he was employed.

Norman Kops was born at Unity, where he lived until entering the army during World War II.  After his marriage, the couple lived at Butternut, while he was employed at the St. Croix Corp. at Park Falls.  Two years ago they moved to Lisle, Ill.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother, Lester Kops of Colby, and two sisters.
