Bielecki, Rosaline (17 DEC 1966)

Miss Rosaline Bielecki, daughter of Mr. Frank Bielecki, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of James Douglas Rice, son of Mr. and Mrs. James K. Rice, Willard, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Globe, Wis. Rev. David Witte performed the two p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 17th, 1966.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of Chantilly lace fashioned with long tapered sleeves and a scalloped Sabrina neckline complemented the fitted bodice. The skirt featured a front panel encircled by tiers of ruffled lace, sweeping into a chapel train. A pearl edged lace petal held her veil and she carried an exquisite mantilla bouquet of white eucharis lilies and phalamapsis orchids.

Miss Delores Malaszuk, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Ericka Mason and Miss Cathy Malaszuk, both friends of the bride. They wore floor length sheaths of crepe in pink highlighted by a lace back panel. Empire bodices of lace in beauty were highlighted by elbow length sleeves framed with flattering ruffle. Their headpieces consisted of veils attached to a floral cloche and each carried Victorian nosegays of pink and white carnations.

Miss Doreen Fifer, niece of the bride, was miniature bride, wearing a floor length dress of white lace fashioned with a bouffant skirt featuring tiers of lace. A petite crown of pearls and crystal secured her veil and she carried a single white Eucharis lily. Bill Fifer, nephew of the bride, was miniature groom.

Allan Lamovec, friend of the groom, was best man, and groomsmen were Anton Bielecki and Darwin Mason. Ushers were Raymond Rice and Henry Lamovec.

A four p.m. supper for 120 guests was given by the bride and groom.

The bride, a graduate of Thorp High School, was a key punch operator at Figi's in Marshfield. The groom, a graduate of Greenwood High School, is a student at Stevens Point College.
