Przybylski, Mr./Mrs. Ignatius (Gold - 4 JUL 1966)

Mr. and Mrs. Ignatius Przybylski observed their 50th wedding anniversary last Sunday, July 3rd, 1966 at a thanksgiving Mass celebrated by their son, Rev. Francis Przybylski, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Hedwig's Chapel.

Edward Tomkowiak acted as commentator and Ted Przybylski as Lector at the Mass, and grandchildren Edward and Terrance Tomkowiak were Mass Servers.

Three grandchildren led the Jubilarians to the altar; Anna, Jose. Jr. and Robert; Theodore and wife Betty; daughters Cherie and Lauri, sons Michael and Mark. Marie Meske carried a basket of Golden Rose, Michael and Lisa Przybylski carried the traditional Cross-Cane and pillow with the Crown and Rosary.

The children, Dorothy, Theodore, Margaret, Theresa and Charlene (Robert's wife) took part in the offeratory procession.

All children were present for the occasion except Captain Robert Przybylski who is serving in Viet Nam. The children included: Rev. Francis Przybylski of Plover, Wis.; Dorothy and husband, Joseph Jedrychowski, and sons Joseph Jr. and Robert, and daughter Constance, and husband Joseph Massey. Theodore and wife Betty, daughters Cherie and Lauri, sons Michael and Mark, Margaret and husband Joseph Meske; sons Mark and Paul, daughters Ann Marie and Mary; Theresa and husband Edward Tomkowiak; sons Edward Jr. and Terrance; Mrs. Robert (Charlene) Przybylski; daughters Lisa and Laura.

Following the Mass, dinner was served to approximately 200 guests. Attending were Rev. Edward Masalewicz, pastor of St. Hedwig's, Rev. Chester Moczarny of Spring Valley, Wis., and Sister Francesca of Phoenix, Ariz.

Ignatius Przybylski married the former Ann Szerlong at St. Hedwig's Church July 4, 1916, Father Francis X. Pudlo officiating. The couple resided on the old homestead in the Town of Withee for 40 years, moving to Thorp on retirement.
