26 Road News by Mrs. Christine Kurz (15 June 1967)

Mrs. Nel Nelsons of Kenosha visited on Saturday with Mrs. Albert Tews.

Stanley Stevens is still in the Memorial Hospital at Neillsville with back trouble. Visitors this past week included his wife Iva, John Kurz, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens.

Wardie Vanderhoof isn’t well and will be admitted to a veteran’s Hospital this week.

Mrs. Ella Mueller is back from visiting relatives in Milwaukee and is visiting at the Mike Fisher and Donald Mueller farms.

Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher returned from their Canada trip this week.

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Brue and Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Brue and family went to Stevens Point on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Brue visited with the Donald Rasmussen familieson Saturday.

Mrs. Stell Stevens was a dinner guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens on Sunday.

Want to beat the humdrums? Take your husband, plus a week end in a city in a good motel, meals served on a tray, long warm bath and an evening out. You’ll go home refreshed. My week end in the twin cities was great. Just Great, thanks to cow and kid sitters.
