Kippenhan, Gladys #2 (16 MAR 1927 - 01 NOV 1942)

Miss Gladys Kippenhan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Kippenhan, was born on March 16, 1927 in the Town of Mead, 7 miles Northwest of Greenwood.

She attended the Kippenhan School and was confirmed at the West Side Reformed Church in 1941.

She passed away on Monday, November 1, 1942 at 2:30 o’clock at the Luther Hospital, after an illness of two years with Bright’s disease. She entered the hospital on Tuesday, October 26th.

Gladys is survived by her parents, a sister Mrs. Ralph (Melinda) Hintz of Milwaukee; three brothers, Calvin of Appleton, Donald and George of Greenwood and her grandfather John Kippenhan of Appleton.

Funeral services will be held from the West Side Reformed Church at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, November 3rd with Rev. B.M. Fresenborg officiating. She will be laid to rest in the West Side Cemetery.
